Contract roasting for Sydney venues
Contract & private label roasting
Your brand. Your blend. We supply cafés, restaurants and retailers with roasted-to-order coffee under the Coffee Artists name, or build a blend exclusive to your brand under private label. Same roastery, same head roaster, same obsession — fifteen years running as Macchiato. Every account starts with a conversation, not a checkout.
Who it's for
Who is contract & white label roasting for?
If coffee matters to your business but roasting isn't your trade, this is built for you:
- Cafés & hospitality groups — a house blend that stays consistent across every site
- Retailers & specialty stores — shelf-ready beans under your own label, roasted fresh weekly
- Offices & corporate supply — standing orders that keep the machine full without the admin
- Brands launching a coffee line — we source, roast and pack while you build the brand
We supply Australian businesses, with dispatch Australia-wide.
Why Coffee Artists
Why choose us as your roasters?
Expert roasting — the same head roaster and machines behind Macchiato, fifteen years running in Sydney.
Specialty-grade coffee — seasonal lots cupped and blended for espresso and filter, profiled to pour the same bag after bag.
Flexible volumes — start with a 5 kg trial bundle, buy at $37/kg with no commitment, and move to $32.50/kg on a standing contract from 15 kg.
Branded packaging — 250 g to 1 kg bags with your label; we help with design or take print-ready art.
Fast turnaround — roasted every Tuesday, dispatched the next business day, Australia-wide.
Pricing
Simple pricing. Two ways to work with us.
Wholesale — order our existing blends and single origins under the Macchiato name, roasted to your schedule.
Private label — we build or brand a blend exclusive to you, on your own bag. Most venues start wholesale and move to private label once volume picks up.
- $37/kg standard — order what you need, when you need it, no commitment
- 5 kg trial bundle — $150 flat — the easiest way to test a blend before committing
- $32.50/kg on contract — our best rate, 15 kg minimum, for standing weekly or monthly orders
- Net 30 available — approved accounts can order on 30-day payment terms; new accounts start prepaid
- Roasted every Tuesday — dispatched the next business day, Australia-wide
- Barista training — dial-in support for your team when the beans change
- Your packaging, if you want it — 250 g to 1 kg bags with your logo; we help with design or take print-ready art

Good to know
Questions, answered.
Wholesale or private label — what's the difference?
Wholesale: you order our existing blends under the Coffee Artists name. Private label (also called white label): we put your logo on the bag, either with one of our blends or one built for you exclusively. We do both, and can switch you between them as you grow.
What does it cost?
$37 per kilo standard, or $32.50 per kilo on a contract (15 kg minimum, best for standing orders). Try a 5 kg trial bundle for $150 flat before committing.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum on standard orders; the $32.50/kg contract rate kicks in at 15 kg. We roast every Tuesday and dispatch the next business day — order by Monday to make that week's roast.
Do you offer payment terms?
Yes — approved accounts can order on net 30 terms. New accounts typically start prepaid while we establish a payment history together.
Can you match the coffee we pour now?
Usually, yes. Send us a bag — our head roaster will profile it and get within a cupping spoon's distance.
Who owns the blend recipe?
Custom blends developed together stay exclusive to your brand while you're roasting with us. Simple.
Do you handle packaging design?
We can guide your packaging from scratch or work with your print-ready artwork. 250 g and 1 kg bags, matte finish, your label.
Do you provide equipment or training?
We don't lease machines, but every account gets barista training and dial-in support whenever the beans or your team changes.
Can I set this up online?
Not as a self-serve signup — every account starts with a taste and a conversation, either by phone or in person at the roastery. Request a sample or leave your details below and we'll book it in.
